Education:
- 1987 graduated in physics, Mathematical and Physical Faculty, Charles University Prague, specialization: meteorology and climatology
- 1999 PhD. degree, thesis: "Visualization of surface, aerological and distant measurements with an accent to the determination of meteorological phenomena".

- Since 1987 in the Institute of Atmospheric Physics ASCR
- Since 2011 deputy head of meteorological department - head of observatories
